Michael Tong

Vice President

Michael is a Vice President in the Investment Office at Robertson Stephens. Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Michael was a Vice President in the Global Investment Office at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. During his time at Morgan Stanley, Michael focused on manager due diligence and covered Global, non-U.S. Developed, and Emerging Market equity strategies. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Michael was a Vice President at Fiduciary Trust International where he was a member of the Strategy Advisory Group which functions as the firm’s outsourced CIO team and provided solutions driven services for asset allocation, manager diligence, and portfolio construction for clients. Michael started his career at Franklin Templeton Investments in their two-year rotational program.

Michael graduated from University of Florida with a B.A in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer & Information Sciences and holds an MBA from the Copenhagen Business School.

Michael’s interests include long distance running, improving his squash game, and has recently begun learning to sail.
