Erik R. Boe

Managing Director, Principal

Erik is a Managing Director and Principal at Robertson Stephens. Together with Eric Kiel, Julie Steinman, CFP®, Brian Post, CFA and Kelly Woodward, he works closely with clients’ portfolio management needs and is committed to providing fully comprehensive wealth management solutions. Over the years Erik has sought to help high-net-worth families, charitable foundations and business owners navigate every corner of wealth preservation and growth. In 2019 he was on the Barron’s Top 1200 Advisors list, as well as the 2019 and 2021 Forbes/Shook ‘Best in State’ Advisor list.

Prior to joining Robertson Stephens, Erik was Senior Vice President – Financial Advisor / Senior Portfolio Manager with RBC Wealth Management. For 14 years he was a partner in the KBB Investment Group and and in 2017, 2018 and 2019 was a member of the Chairman’s Council. His career in financial services began in 2000 where he spent five years as a Financial Advisor with A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.

As an active corporate citizen, Erik has served on the board of the Idaho Conservation League, the Environmental Resource Center and the YMCA of the Wood River Valley – finance committee. He currently serves on the Galena Trails Advisory Board and is Treasurer/Board Member of the Sun Valley Community SPUR Foundation. Erik earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon. A Seattle native, Erik has lived in the Sun Valley area since 1993, where he enjoys spending time with his wife Wendel and daughter Crosby, and the many things the Sawtooth Mountains have to offer.
